    paint tipped over in the boot!!!

    went to b&Q for some paint this morning and when i got home and got the paint out of the boot i was like wtf?one of the pots had tipped over and put matt white celling paint all over my boot!cant believe it could only happen to me,2 hours of cleaning got it looking not bad.got some more cleaner will finish it tomorrow just need a new boot carpet,bet there not cheap.So my tip is dont put paint in the boot without sercuring it!

    that just looks like you get the sides the sides r ok its the bottom plus london is abit far to travel but cheers for the link anyway

    the thing is i have a old mirca for running about in but decided the s3 had not been out this week so went in that so wish i hadnt!but to be fair its come out alright having another go tomorrow!i dont like any mess in her full stop this paint was like a nightmare think i need counciling because im still not over it lol!

    If it hasn't fully dried then a good spray in the shower working from the top down would probably shift it. Will be ten times harder if left to dry overnight.

    Luckily he got it sorted....might find some more useful tips in the comments. Also, I got a quality boot liner online - specifically for an 8L. Quite sturdy with built-in carpet-like material in the centre to keep things rolling around. You can just lift it out and powerhose it when it gets grubby. Recommended.

    just take the carpet out and jetwash it.... if it's matt wall paint i'm guessing it's water based so eventually it should come clean with plenty of water

    D'oh!!!! Get a boot liner! Washing up liquid and a jet wash will do it.
