New MAF but still low g/s in vcds...

Following on from sandips logging session this week, I've put a new bosch MAF in and I'm still getting slightly low readings (154g/s) following a full throttle 3rd gear run. Anyone had this before?

First port of call I'd check would be:

1) check for boost leaks in hoses (even the slightest cut from an over-tightened jubilee clip can cause this). Check all hoses around / under DV etc.
2) Check DV - does it seem OK (holding boost etc.)

When was it last serviced (when was air filter last cleaned)?

Serviced last month, air filter good. Dv is not a standard one (but is a recirculating one). Have leak tested it recently and only found one leak which is now fixed

Join the gang mate, i've had a leak for a few months now and still can't find the ******* thing. Looks like i'm gonna have to get a pressure test done!

some of you guys need to get to Bills or similar for a smoke test/diag. I am sure they could identifty leaks etc with the tester.

Yeah, I agree but he is a 250 mile round trip!!

Shirley this is an electronic issue? MAF just measures air going in at entry of system not at throttle body.

There must be a local garage / Tuner with a smoke tester??
