A few of you may have been aware that my car developed a high pitched squeaking noise from the n/s front of the car. It has since been described as sounding like an 'old fasioned kettle boiling.
The symptoms are:
It is definitely speed related, as it only starts over around 35/40 miles an hour. But once it's started, it'll squeak even at 5mph..
Get's louder and faster as the car gets faster.
Squeaks whether in neutral/in gear/breaking.
Had the wheel off, and no signs of the brakes rubbing, had the car up on axle stands in 2wd mode, and couldn't see anything, swapped wheels from front to back..
Please HELP!
