fitting thermostat

hi all got a new thermostat today inlcuding rubber o rings and gaskets. do i still need to use gasket paste as well

You use just the O ring, no gaskets as far as i know and no paste.

i done mine couple of weeks ago no gaskets or paste the new o ring seals fine.
