are these a really light wheel? looking for something light, also around 7j and et 38, will these go over lcr brembo's?

I have them in 18 * 8, not sure of the offset and there is just enough clearance over brembos. I suspect you may have a problem with 17s because the spokes curve inwards to meet the rim.
And yes, they are light although you can go lighter. I just like them - had a set on my Ibiza back in the 1990's and had the S3 ones refurbed in satin black to match the rest of my dechromed car.

Decent lightweight wheel yes.
7j ET38 fitting over LCR brakes, no chance. you'd need at LEAST 15mm spacers I would think.
Why do you want 7j? and why do you want ET38? They would look terrible on an S3, and sit SERIOUSLY inboard

thanks for the advice, just saw a set sell for 150 with tyres on ebay with that spec, so was going to pick up a good deal but not quite what I'm after.
