Centre armrest jammed

Hi guys, my centre armrest has jammed pointing upwards. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it ?
Any help appriciated.

Ha ha, nice one.
Ive had a quick look and it doesnt seem like the covers for the arm rest come off easily, come on guys i need your help.

Hey try using this http://www.thewellings.co.uk/audi-sport/manuals/a3interior.pdf scroll down a bit and you will find and exploded view of the center arm rest and how to remove it, hope this helps.

You'll find that one of the plastic tabs release has snapped when you do get it off (so if you put it up it will stick again), I fixed mine by doing pretty much what this guy suggested:

Arm Rest Button

PS. the screws to take it off are hidden in the flock lining - they take some finding but they are there!
