Would these bulbs be ok

I wouldnt think these would give u better white lighting on the road at all, think there for Chav's who have rabbit like eyes too see in the dark.

You have to look out for the power output as some are too high and can damage the wiring apparently. Plus they are illegal I think. Do a search on a the net on a bulb sight and I am sure you will be 'enlightened'! Ha Ha

I have got Philips Visionplus and they are ok. They are about £15 on ebay. I also had some halfords superwhite or bluewhite and they were better than standard, just a little worse than the Philips ones.

Osram silverstar, are great giving 50% more road light and whiter than stock ones look on here for them http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk/
u get blue side light bulbs too, apparently.
hope this helps

I bought those osram silverstars and they are much better than the super-bright Bosch jobs I had in there before. Bargain price off powerbulbs too. They throw in a free pair of sidelights but I haven't fitted mine yet - spent 45 mins carving my hand to pieces while trying then gave up.

It depends on how you look at it, but IMO 8.99 for a set of so called Xenon bulbs is far too cheap for them to be of any signifcant quality. And knowing that you can make a good bulb and a bad bulb will always make me pay that little extra premium.

Halfords is a suggestion nothing else, and all I mean is use reputable brands for bulbs otherwise you may well see yourself replacing them more often than you'd like.
