Removing Plastic Door Handle?

    Hi Guys

I've got a few scratches and marks on the plastic door handle, (not the chrome door handle used to open the door) but the part you use to push open the door (the electric windows buttons are incorporated into it)...I was wondering if anybody has removed these and if so how do I go about doing this???

I'd like to cover them in carbon fibre or somehow hide the marks.

I've noticed there is a screw that appears to hold the part in place however upon removing this I still couldn't remove the handle.

    Any ideas?

ditto - my girlfriend thought it was acceptable to pick at it If you go to my homepage and download the interior PDF IIRC it tells you how to remove them.

    Re: Removing Plastic Door Handle?

I've had a look and cannot find the screws?

There appears to be only one screw, I've removed this and the thing won't budge! It certainly wasn't built to be messed with.

Any ideas? Anybody ever removed this part?

If I do ever remove them, what would you go for to cover the scratches...prime and spray paint or cover with some sort of carbon fibre trim?
