Will S3 facelift lower console fit pre-facelift

Hi guys,

I want to replace the lower console of my car (1.8 T agu) with the lower console from an S3 facelift. Im sure the fittings for the screws will be the same but will the lower console from a facelift fit under the centre console of a pre-facelift?? When saying the lower console I mean the plastic unit between the seats and goes under the main centre console.
