Hi guys.

Lately when dry steering or steering at low speeds, a quite loud and cringe worthy creaking sound comes from the front of the car.
I don't know a lot about mechanics so asked a few people and most people said it is the suspension bushings or bushes wearing down.

I know they're not expensive, but I know cars have quite a few bushings and I just need to know what ones would it possibly be, who is a good supplier and is replacing them a DIY or should I drop it off at the garage.

Thanks and merry Sunday

Could be a few things mate, could be arb bushes, top mounts, cv boots.

Does it make the noise when going over bumps?

It does creak going over bumps. It started off a knocking noise in the front right wheel arch area and progressively got worse to the point it does it when turning the wheel too. Also, if the car is left stationary for a day, a small puddle always forms near the front wheels, and for a good few hours the car runs normal without any creaks or knocks.

What kind of puddle? Sounds like top mount to me mate mate.

just a little puddle of water, about 100ml each side.

I'll take it to an oil rag on the corner and see what he can make of it this week. Thanks mate
