ESP warning light

Evening all

Before I took my A3 1.8T Sport in for repairs the ESP light came on.The brakes were totally goosed so assumed this was what was causing it.The car now has new discs & pads front & back which were fitted last saturday and all was well but today the light came on again.Could this be an ABS sensor fault ?

Yeah, get your car scanned with VAG-COM and if a wheel sensor has gone it will tell you which wheel.

Thinking about it the light came on just after I had braked and come to a stop then turned right into a junction.Im wondering now if it could be the brake switch ?

Anybody nearby with VAGCOM could help a guy out ?
