Vinyl wrap just arrived, finally after 2 weeks off poor custom.

Just wondering what's the easiest way to get it off the car? ive heard of people removing the bumper to do it, is this really necessary?

thanks

I removed mine by using a trim removal tool and prying it off in situ

I used good old brute force with mine and out it came, diddnt do too much damage just bant a couple of clips, but they easilly bend back

so i remove the whole grill? or is it just the chrome part you removed?

if you pull the chrome it will snap! dont do it!!!!!!
remove the black plastic grille, the chrome is attached to that

yep, i made the mistake of just pulling on the grill whilst applying pressure to the clips with a screwdriver, worked fine apart from one stubborn clip which snapped and now the grill surround sticks out slightly on one side :(

bumper off just to be safe, if you've done it before it's easy.

Take the bumper off: 2-3 screws in both arches, couple of on the top when you open the bonnet, pop the 2 sides out and then the bumper just slides off...

I've had the chrome part of 3 or 4 times with a screw driver without damaging anything. You lot must be going mental on yours!

A small flat blade screwdriver start at the bottom of the middle of the grill and gently prize off working you're way out equally from centre until u have got all the way round takes less than 40 seconds
