Snapped coil spring

I have a '97 A3 1.8T Sport and one of the rear coil springs has snapped causing it to fail M.O.T. However there seems to be two types of coil spring available, one for Sports version and one for normal versions. Can anyone tell me of a good way of finding out if I have sports suspension or not ? I have checked my cars spec codes in the service book and it says it has Front sports suspension, sports pack two ? Does anyone know what this means ?

They are usually colour coded on the spring, if the paint is still there, you should change them in pairs anyway...
