My passenger front seat (A3 1.8 T Sport 96' 3 dr) has broken, it will still slide forwards on the runners and the back of the seat will still tip forward to allow passengers into rear but the lift n tilt mechanism has snapped off - haven't a clue what to do my MOT is due couple of months and I know this will be a failure can I get the seat mechanism welded so that the lift n tilt feature isn't needed - seats are heated full leather - can I get hold of the full metal base of the seat, any advice welcome please guys as Im really stuck
