    inconsistant boost!

i have an S3 thats re-mapped and modded to 280bhp and lately my boost has dropped to like 10psi. after few days it will go bk to mid 20s again and its getting on my nerves thats its doing this. ive hooked it up to vag and i get a boost control valve code but surely if this is broke wouldnt the boost stay low rather then going bk after day or 2?

Sounds like the N75 is faulty to me

    The fault is probably intermittent.

A faulty N75 can cause overboost which will make the car go into limp mode, do you remember the fault code ?

Most likely N75, that is an overboost fault

my n75j valve was £60 from audi (TPS). Definetly sounds like a n75 fault mine was doing simular things. Where are abouts do you live. i have 1 you could try before you buy
