Which turbocharger?

The turbo recently went on my 2001 a3 1.8T Quattro and i wanted to know if anybody could tell me the type of turbo that it is and what its called. I am aware that this turbo is different to the non-quattro version. Also if I was finding it difficult to get hold of one are there any other turbos that bolt straight on with no modification at all, such as one from a TT or something? I've done some research and I believe it is the K04 but im not sure. The engine code is ARY.

It will either be a K03 or a K03s, the K04 was on the S3 only. I'll let the A3 boys let you know what turbo goes on an ARY

I have a very late 2000 facelift 1.8TQS, with an ARY engine code. I have a KO3s turbo on mine.

Yours should be a ko3s, ko4 is not a straight fit to your car.
