Really sorry about if this has been coverd an i havnt found it on the search function but...
on my way back from bsb today my a3 - 2000 1.6 petrol , ran fine.I then got to a set of lights, pulled away on the green an all of a sudden the car sounded like a tank an was very sluggish.It did still run but the noise was enough for people to turn round etc.
I got the car home an notcied the pipe coming from the back of the engine is loose. I can grip it an move it.I cannot see if it hasd sheered or snapped or simply come loose.Now this pipe has like a 2 into 1 look about it an connects to the cat.I am assuming it the downpipe? Im wondering guys is this a big fix an does it take its time? How is it connected aswell?
Again sorry if i sound like a noob but its pretty urgent i get it fixed.
