    Angry air filters

Hi all has anyone had any experience with this induction kit

I have fitted the ABD L.A.N system which is similar set up to this just £230 more and wondered if this one works aswell, obviously the filter isnt the same but i could easily replace that and still save alot.
have have also previously used the ~ABD quick flow but found that messed about with the MAF and i have also fitted a BMC CDA which was a great filter but had no sound to it if that makes sense.
If this has a bad review what have you guys fitted and found worked well. unfortunatley im on a tight budget having brought car just over a week ago and alread had to pay out for a brand new alternator, £147 on recovery after breaking down due to alternator failure, a new tyre for spare wheel as the garage sold me the car with a blow out in the spare tyre. and now having to do the cam belt, all money that was suppose to go on modding

I have a similar system on my car but fitted with a Pipercross cone, mainly because it is better at repelling water than the cotton gause type as the cone is right down at the front bumper where it can get wet, it sound really nice and you can hear the dump valve echoing through it.

are you saying dont buy the cold feed kit or buy a decent jetex filter to compliment the kit?

i ran one of these cheapy e-bay jobbies for ages on my last A3, worked a treat. The filter's a decent enough size & construction, contains no oil so wont mess with the maff and sits right behind the grill getting S*IT loads of cold air! I just also brought a K&N dry charge kit to go over the cone to help keep it dry, was about 17 quid ordered from halfords.
