Pre-facelift headlight conversion advice needed

I have been searching the forum for how to's and threads on how to convert headlights from a pre facelift.

I know about the cutting of the inner wing, but not too sure on if i will need to alter wiring.

At the moment there is GID headlights installed, so will I have to buy facelight GID units or will xenons work.

I done mine and the only issue I had was that 1 of the plugs did not fit so I exchanged the plastic unit out of my pre facelift and put in the facelift
