Brake problem!!

Been doing this for the past few weeks. The abs light comes on and goes (sometimes staying on for a few days) Sometimes when i press the brake in it feels like it pumping back against my foot making a strange grinding noise but doesnt sound like my brakes are grinding. Could this be the ABS pump knackered?
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

i would check your abs sensors also

Get the codes checked... probably just a ******** sensor... no where near as expensive to replace...

If it were the sensor would it still be causing the brakes to play up?

Yep... could also be the wiring leading to the sensor... Dane had a similar issue on his S3 so I ended up re wiring it... his ABS would keep kicking in even when braking gently IIRC...

First thing to do though is to get the car scanned for faults as a faulty ABS sensor (or any other fault for that matter) will show up and you can take it from there...
