the last owner of my 1.8T A3 had the clutch done by them. the car has done around 10K since is was fitted, as now its starting to slip and its sticking a bit as it stinks of buring clutch when i park up or stop

the car has had a few mods done do it which may of taken some life off it.

has anyone else on here had a clutch done by them, if so is it any good ?

thanks for any help Jay

When i was at Jag we used to have loads of cars in that had clutches fitted by Mr Clutch and had failed very soon after fitting. Cowboys very much so..

Well i would be dissapointed that a clutch lasted 10k for a road car, even the odd track use it should last longer..
If you are sprinting it all the time however thats a different story...

Well documented fact that Mr Clutch installs crap clutches. No wonder they are so cheap...

there clutches are cheap crap i would supply your own clutch and get some one to fit it for a bit of labour

Bit off topic but employement at a Mr Clutch is up there on my "worst jobs in the world" list. The thought of fitting clutches day after day, and not even good ones....
