Where do i take a live feed from for my boost gauge?

I have done a search but cant seem to find a proper answer.

I could of sworn ive sin it on here before but typically just cant seem to find it when i need it most

I took mine from the light switch as dave says.

i used the dash board light brightness adjuster thing. That way when i turn the lights off its off. And when i turn em on its on but i can also adjust the brightness at the same time as the dash lights.

Ive got one of the smoked swoosh ones and needed an ignition live as well so i could see it in the daylight...

Anyone know which colour wire it is? I think id like to take it of the dimmer so its dims if needed

I cant remember the wire colours, sorry, but i would buy a multi meter, its only a tenner or so, and will be useful for you in the future no doubt...?

Here's my handy work. I made a mistake first and cut the wrong wires!

I used the brown and the blach cables as shown in the 2nd picture. This wired up the boost guage to come on with the ignition.

Thought most boost gauges only had a live feed and an earth? How come you took 2 feeds westle? Also wheres the best place to earth under the dash?

Cant remember. I just poked the wires into the block untill I found out what combination made it light up with th ignition on
