Xenon Ballasts

Is it possible to just replace the ballast from a headlight, had a little look on ETKA and its says its not an interchangable part, so id have to buy the whole headlight unit?

Think ive got a faulty ballast as checked the fuses and bulbs and they are all okay and the connector to the bulb is not 'firing' when turning the lights on.

anyone know??

will ask dealers tomorrow but think they will just say whole unit needs replacing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
