when i lowered the car on coilovers, i got scrapage so fitted the TT roll bar

when i fitted the TT roll bar when re-fitting the drop links they are sat at a angle, as a result of this they are ******.

put my car on the pit today they have play in them causing them to clunk.

has has people got around this problem ?

this is what my drop links looks like

that does look low on 16's but have seen lower are the drop links new or reused could have had play in the drop links already then when lowered just point it out even more due to the strain on the drop links beeing lower

what about adjustable ones im sure i seen them on a suspension build thread in the stickies and didnt use them on a fwd a3 as they were not right

I had this same issue, and used spacer bushes in between the ARB, thread and the droplink to make it sit perpendicular as opposed to that angle. I've had them on for at least 3 months and had no issues or play in them at all (and mine even lower now).

Only thing I have to worry about is the chassis knocking on the ARB now. :ninja:

Hope this helps.
