Can anyone help even audi failed

My car has developed a overfueling problem!,over 2,000 revs fine!,under black smoke wrong idle!,it started overfuleing while away in holiday,so found a local audi delership to have a look after i checked most common faults!,they said it was a maf sensor so changed that still the same!,one coil pack looked black so changed that with a set of plugs, still the same, then changed temp sensor ,same!,have cleared fuel rail and fuel return pipe done compresion check!,only thing on diagnostics coming up is cylender 1 and 2!,but surely is due to fueling isue!.the car was mapped one month ago!,only thing i can think is a faulty ecu!,please help i hav spent £550 already!,car is booked back in with tuner race developments for friday!

I would take it back to the Tuner... it could be a big vac leak...

    This would be likely.

You said the only thing coming up on diag is cylinder 1 & 2. What about them?

    Fault codes would be useful.

No ones mentioned it yet, but I'd say a faulty FPR could be the problem. They increase fuel pressure as boost rises, if the FPR is stuck then it could be raising the fuel pressure constantly and not just with boost as it should. Just try a known working one, also this would through up anything in vdcs either so it's more a try and see fix.

try swapping the injectors around , clear the codes and if it comes back on the same cylinders then you know it's not your injectors..... it's something you can try thats not gonna cost you money

It's impossible to help you mate as you have given no-one ANY specifics at all. Fault codes are the key to unlocking problems.

    Links for the correct codes:

    16684/P0300/000768 - Ross-Tech Wiki
    16688/P0304/000772 - Ross-Tech Wiki
    16686/P0302/000770 - Ross-Tech Wiki

    18010/P1602/005634 - Ross-Tech Wiki

The power supply one is where you have disconnected the battery.

The others look to be injector related. I am guessing that you didn't clear the codes when you swapped the injectors, as that would really have helped diagnose.

If you have swapped injectors from cylinders 4 and 2 around, then it will be one of those, looking at your codes. It's hard to say which as it retains the previous codes.

Simple to diag though, if it misfires at idle, simply unplug the harness from those two injectors, and see which one makes no difference to running. That will be the one.

I did do that test to determin the coil went in the first place!,just checked again and coil four was gone, which is prob kicking cyl 2 out!,changed coil now drives alot better coil still fine, still black smoke so either need to burn carbon of more or somethink is making the coils go!,or something from what i have changed blew the coil?

I'm sorry, and not wishing to be rude, but what the hell are you talking about?

You have clearly go an injector issue which I would look to resolve first. Fault codes don't just come up for no reason.

You have black smoke, a fuelling issue most likely - and a fault on an injector - I'd start there.

True that why i said there must be another cause!,but surely an injector would either work or not work!,i.e blocked!,changed coil and they are now all acting the same!,i don't know im asking?,just sound weird!,has any1 else had this prob?

i would have thought that if it were coilpacks it would rear its ugly head when the engine is under load....not idle, you say its fine over 2000 rpm...

people are suggesting injectors and your fault codes are also pointing towards injectors

you swaped your injectors around and your fault codes jump with them...

injectors were on cylinders 1&2 and thats where you had fault codes?

You swap your dodgy injectors to cylinder 3&4 and now you have fault codes across all 4 cylinders.... thats probably because you didnt clear the fault codes from cylinders 1&2 before re-scanning

injector, injector, injector, injector, injector, injector...so....i changed the coilpack and guess what.....oooh do tell

And if it was a sticky injector it could be staying open longer than it should thus over fueling and giving you black smoke
