throttle body,coilpack or sparks? need help from a clued up person

hi all my mates vw bora 1.6 is having starting up/running issues. the car does not want to fire up and the throttle body vlave does not fully turn when you look at it. so decided to replace the throttle body but still same problem. also smoke coming from the throttle body.. could it be coilpack or sparks?

i thought it might be headgasket but no oil or coolant mixed . but water comes out of the exhuast! any help needed thanks

You need to get it pressure tested for the headgasket maybe...
crank speed sensor is a reason it may not start

he mentined somthing about oil pressure light coming on dash but hasnt come up since.? also where would that sensor be mate? and are they expensive? cheeers for reply

I'm not being funny but I'd advise your friend to take it to a garage. It's all well and good posting here but it's so difficult to diagnose anything without seeing the car or seeing any VCDS logs/errors.

cant get the car to turn over. so cant take it and cant find any one mobile with a diagnostic

Where abouts in Bedfordshire are you? Have you checked for VCDS members on the VCDS map on this forum?
