Maf faulty?

Unpluged the maf sensor while running but no change in engine tone or running quality! Could this maf be faulty? Cheers

if you have vag com, log block 002 and see the g/s airflow figures. if you do a search for MAF threads in the forum there its lots of information on how to diagnose a faulty MAF. I think the Ko3 kick out anout 150 g/s standard, with a mapped Ko4 around the 210 g/s mark. but thats just from memory, search the forum

k03 on 150bhp motor would read 120-130g/s if healthy
