What is the black box with the tubes going into it?, 2 of the pipes seem to be loose but don't want to touch them until I know what they are

To do with the fuel system and vaccum to draw vapours out.

The pipes will be loose, they are not actually loose as the fixtures are tight they just wobble a little so don't worry.

That's the charcoal canister. Part of the fuel vapour system as stated above.

they should be wobbly. whatever you do dont brake the pipes. it STINKS of fuel otherwise.

The one on the right runs round the coolant bottle into the charcoal filter. Mine was knackered at both ends so I swapped it for a bit of rubber, no more petrol pong.
