Took my car to Audi for minor work and anti corrosion check and came back noisy

Are you still getting knocking noises from the front of your car. If they had your wheels off check if your wheel nuts are done up ASAP, i know it sounds obvious but i thought i had a dodgey CV joint until i noticed 2 of my wheel bolts were lose! cheap fix but worth the check.

Hi mate that scared me lol it was a creaking noise and they have sorted it now, Im not taking it back there again.

If teh car was brand new then you would get a respray simple as due to faults such as recalls on cars when they need new mechanical parts. End of the day it's manufacturer problem and it should be repaied.

I gave up with Wolverhampton Audi and took it to Tamworth Audi, I have had a lot more time from them, they have taken photo's and sent them off so I'm waiting to hear from them now

Hopefully the roof rails get sorted through Tamworth Audi and they do a decent job. If they decline it then get onto Audi UK.

Wolverhampton Audi sound like they've enjoyed taking your hard cash, i'd get your car checked over by an independant VW/Audi specialist to make sure all the jobs have been carried out properly. If faults are found with the jobs they have done then i'd get in touch with Audi UK and let them know what's happened

Iv just posted on the Warranty thread about the paint now, but if no joy il try Solihull then Audi Uk is my last option Im also having a full service done there so that should pick up any additional problems then I can start saving again for my B5 TIP and Remap just not sure which one to have a Badger remap or R-tech I dont actually know the difference :uhm:

Total load of gash mate. Take it to another Audi dealership. The paint doesn't just bubble! The reason it tends to corrode in that area is apparently where the roof panel and the rear quarter panel meet as they are made from two seperate types of metal.

Another dealership wont mug you off so much.

I took mine to 2 dealers and even an independant guy and they all said the same thing as above. i Just left it in the end..

If its a design issue, then I would of said to the nonce in service, well who the feck designed it then numnuts!!!!

Infact you should of got that in writing or recorded his comments, as that would of got you exactly what you wanted tbh.

The guy at Tamworth told me its in the Wolverhampton Audi warranty guys notes about not being a claim, even he though he was a plum

Hi guys update time Tamworth Audi have accepted my claim for the roofrails rust and have made an offer, they have said they will meet 70% of the cost leaving me to pay £290 inc VAT.

Tamworth Audi have accepted that the roofrails are covered under the warranty so therefore Audi should pay 100% to repair it, don't let them take more money off you lol

There saying they will do it as a good will gesture as I dont have full Audi service history, I am not sure what to do, if I refused and they said no to 100% id be gutted, so I dont know weather to just go for it as it saves a lot of problems in the future, there also doing the boot lid.

The whole full service history crap is ********. They only say that because the know that all the overpriced labour charges spent on the car has gone to Audi and basically can afford to sort it with no problems.

I agree with Sandip 100% - don't let them take money off you considering the paint issue is Audi''s fault anyway. I know they won't touch my car because I have removed the roof rails and fitted new ones in matt black.

I wouldnt settle for that a all mate, 100% all the way, thats unacceptable tbh.

Get it in writing the offer on the table now, then challenge it.

The whole full service history crap is ********..

Where as I agree with the context of the sentence, lets keep the language clean please fella. :)
