Odd noise from turbo after remap

Hi,

Had my S3 remapped at AmD a few weeks back, i've noticed that the turbos make quite a different noise now when booting it up through the revs. Is this normal? I'm pretty sure I've seen another post where someone mentioned that they can "hear the turbos working harder" after a remap which is I suppose what you expect - what suprised me was how different it sounded, which is why I am a little worried.....?

That noise it the turbo spoling up much quicker as the boost has been inceased due to the remap...........quite normal

Hmmmm... Mine doesn't sound any different from before the remap.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Got me confused as well now..

you should here morw whooshy whistle, but if there is any screeching, its the compressor wheel complaining! It wont last long if it is, so best to get it checked and be sure.

nah its totally normal

No screeching with mine, but a definite increase in the growl from the turbo. Love it!
