How do you remove a 6 disc bose head unit

My radio has no reception at all, I am wondering how to remove the head unit I can see any holes to insert a tool? also what tool is it? is it a specialist tool or is there any tricks anyone knows about?

you need a tool mate best to buy a snap-on tool as its got all the different bits to remove all types of systems..

You just need the removal keys, if it's a Symphony you'll need 2 pairs. Remember to remove the glovebox and push the HU from behind, do not pull the HU out using the keys, just insert them with the angled sides facing inwards to release the spring clips and then push from behind.

there are four slots the top two are above the the top buttons and two below bottom buttons!!

I used a butter knife to pull mine out once, I can't remember if there are screws you undo first though....

you can make it easier if you park your car facing up a steep hill lol
