brake warning lights

I have had this for a while now. Whenever I start the car I get a red brake warning light on the dis along with 3 loud beeps. The warning light stays on so I can't change to MPG etc. Pads are fine and fluid is fine
Has anyone came across this before?

Probably the brake wear sensor, had the same after I got my front pads replaced. The guys just disconnected the sensor, rather than refitting it.
