Misfire detection on VCDS?

Is there a way of using VCDS to log a misfire or similar as I suspect a may have either a faulty coil or ignition amp.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Group 15 and 16 work Dave cylinders 1,2,3 on 15 and the fourth one on 16

I have tried this numerous times and it doesnt seem to bring up what i need?

I get this -

(obviously snapshot taken without engine running)

Can you post a step by step method by any chance as this VAG COM thing baffles me sometimes.

I did and it had the same block labels as the pic i posted. Just different values etc.

Just go to a VAG garage and get them to do it

I may just purchase it off eBay. Seen a few used genuine ones for £55 which seems ok to me!

I did mine the other day and got missfires on cil 1 2 3 went up to about 8 tick over
