just wondering if i'll get failed for this? one of my rears is just starting to make abit of noise 40mph+ i need to get the car in for its mot in the next few weeks so dont know weather i should get the bearing done before or will it be ok to leave it a few weeks?

If it's noisey it will be an advisory, It will only fail if there is side to side or top to bottom play. If it only happens over 40 then I very much doubt it's failed enough to fail the mot.
Jack the car up and try moving the wheel, it should be solid, which it probably will be.
