help please warning light

hi all i got a yellow warning light coming on looks like a thermomitor stays on for about 4 mins then goes off ? checked water levels all seem fine it only seems to do it when i first start the car a3 tdi sport any help would be great thank you mark

Sounds like the coolant warning symbol.

Yes and known to fail, new bottle requierd around £15 from Audi

Temp sensor maybe?

I'm pretty sure the temp sensor doesn't have a light for when it fails, agree with the others, sounds like the coolant level sensor has failed.
