Turbo actuator

Hi all, do these go weak? i have no boost leaks new N75 DV Coils, no exhaust or manifold leaks! and still only 8psi oh new MAF. i have been told either a new one needed or i can fit a bleed valve and carefully ajust it to compensate??? i believe 12 psi it stock for an S3.

Yes they can go weak but 12psi is boost controlled by the N75... if you have 8psi then that sounds like actuator pressure and you have other issues...

Do you have a boost gauge to check this pressue? are you/have you logged anything in VAGCOM yet? need to check boost request vs actual etc... bleed valve won't help you...

You can try disconnecting the N75 for a run to see what pressure you get... should be about 0.5bar and sometimes creeps a little higher...

I just borrowed a boost gauge from my mates car and quickly just tested it as it feels a bit low on power! and 8psi was all! i have new N75,MAF,710N DV,PLUGS ,COILS too! its smooth but thats all, will have to find someone with vagcom to see whats happening!
