re-map, FMIC, Induction kit ?

I've got a 1.8T S, and need more power. Basically i've been looking at getting it remaped. A few different people have told me to get the other bits done first and then get it remapped last so that it can be tuned properly.
I however dont understand what "everything else" really does.

What is the FMIC, and what kind of performance increase will this give, same for the induction kit?.
What could I expect to get out of the standard 150bhp car?, Without paying too much.

Im sure this has been asked before, but havn't been able to find it.

you should be able to see at least 200 wiv chip/remap exhaust and induction.
