How to remove tailgate cover

The hose for my rear wash/wipe has split. I need to get the tailgate cover off, i've taken the 2 screws out of the handle, but can't get the cover off without feeling like its going to break.

go around the cover and there are small metal prongs holding it on mine took a good yank to get of

gentle YANKING does the trick

done it, just have to pull it from the bulbus bit at the top that covers the rear wiper motor

How did you fix split ? Mine has split tried a patch up job didn't last.
