Are LUK parts the same as those genuine parts Audi use for there clutches etc

Hey guys as above really. I have heard LUK parks are the same as Genuine audi parts, just branded differently. Is this true or complete ********?
 
LuK make clutches for VAG group yes... only difference is they don't have the VAG part number or 4 rings logo on them... and are much cheaper... Clutch for a 2001 S3 was just under £100+vat, dual mass flywheel about £230+vat... cheaper if you are trade IIRC...

Yer i'am just looking at euro car parts online, luk cluch is 183, and dual mass flywheel 335. Trade is much cheaper by the sounds of it
 
I got mine from GSF... bit of haggling but I got a decent price... worth a punt...

Annoyingly they have two flywheels on the euro website. the more expensive one must be for the 225
