G61 Knock sensor control module??

Hi all, anyone know where on the car this is?? and how do i test if its working, and how much for a new one???

Control module? I think there maybe a little confusion here. It's not like the ABS which has it's own brain.

The G61 and (G62) knock sensors are located on the engine block. 2 wires go in, a + and a - and one signal wire back to the ECU.


There is no actual control module, other than the knock sensors themselves.

I must have dodgey wiring then? even when unplugged the fault code comes back! sick of this car already!
