Lighting on a3 8l 1999

Hi there,
Just a quick question.
Do facelift lights go straight on a non facelift a3?
Also have seen some led r8 style lights and am not sure whether they will look ok in a 1999 car.
Any opinions?

no you have to trim a bit of the wing near the indicator, not as drastic as it sounds....
led r8 style lights is personal taste, i would not have them..

there are some pretty good pre-facelift all in one lights on fleabay, like these

I've toyed with the idea of R8 lights, but I'd steer clear. Im a 1998 A3, and a Essex chav.
