Hi Guys,

I had this fault come up a couple of weeks ago on my S3 (AMK engine).

17511 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating: B1 S1: Performance too Low

P1103 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Cleared the code, it came up again a couple of days later, cleared it again and after running through 2 tanks of gas, it's stayed off. I haven't noticed my fuel consumption getting worse - besides replacing the oxygen sensor as preventive maintenance, is there somewhere else that I should be looking at? What else could have caused that fault to come up? I've checked the connections and plugged them in and out - all seems good. Tks!

before the cat, look behind the charge pipe

If the wiring is ok then it sounds as though the sensor is at fault... just be sure to get a Bosch one rather than some cheap knock off... GSF sell them (IIRC) for around the £80 mark...

I have just recently had a Bosch one from ECP, was about £80 as above.
