sometimes the revs drop and stals most of the time the revs stay solid at 750rpm.
The problem will stay for some days and when its back to normal will run fine for weeks.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a vac leak to me mate - thats certainly where I would be starting. Common as muck.

Look around all the small hoses on/under/connected to the inlet manifold.
