I need to replace the base part of my aerial as the threaded nut has worn and the rubbers are looking a little old for their age. I need to get this sorted. I know the rear reading light housing is near but just would like to know if any of you have done this in the past or have any diagrams in order to carry out the work.

not sure taht you can get to it through the rear light without breaking trim

when i installed the satnav antenna, i had to remove the rear seat side, the boot side, the c pillar trim then finally the roof middle piece behind the light - each one holds down the next piece

the c pillar trim is only held in with press clips - i think if you pulled the top end of one side where is meets the roof section, you could pull out the metal spring clips whilst leaving the bottom end under the boot side trim - that way you could then pull down the rear roof section and get to the antenna
