New to the forum, hoping that someone can shed some light on a question of what type of oil to use.
I am at the point of my head imploding to just get an answer.
I have read so many posts on the subject but am no nearer an answer.
Have an Audi A3 (2004) 2.0 TDI on long life servicing - In the hand book says oil needed is VW506
Then I read about PD engines, which I dont know whether I have. I get told that oil spec VW507 has replaced the old VW506, and that VW507 is what I need. I see that this oil is 5w-40, but the old 1 ltr bottle in the boot I am sure was 0w-30.
HELP!!
