Newbie need help on my A3 as pervious owner has bodged it
Hello, Well i have just brought my 1997 A3 and the guy i brought it from has bodged a new stereo in and 6x9s on the parcel shelf as well as other thing in the car.

Im looking at upgrading all the speakers (non Bose) as the sound quietly is not great at all and the speakers distort easily but i have very little experience and it makes it worse as behind the head unit is a complete mess now.

So anybody have any help or links to old threads about upgrading the speakers and wiring, or how much it would be for a car audio place to fit it all?

Regarding cost, it depends on what you want. My setup includes a £40 FLI sub, 4 x £20 FLI speakers, £25 wiring and bits, and (hopefully in future) £150 Kenwood BT60u headunit.
