Righty... essentially this little lot looks related... meaning there is one fault and as a result its upset other sensors... I would suspect the MAF at this stage...

Has anything happened to prompt this fault code check? these could be old codes if this is the first scan you know of... clear them and check again after a bit of driving...

Not enough info really to start a full diag but if they come back after clearing then clear again and unplug the MAF and see what comes back... some logging would also be useful although limited on the unregistered version of VCDS

the top 1 is a rite fukker iv got it still no leaks new maf etc etc
next stop is the IAT sensor

Possible Symptoms

  • Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON
  • Reduced Power
Possible Causes

  • Intake hose(s) or intake system leaks (Unmetered Air) after MAF
  • Intake Air Temperature sensor faulty
  • Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) faulty
  • Engine Coolant Temperature sensor faulty
  • Restricted Air or Fuel Filters
Possible Solutions

  • Check intake hose(s) or intake system for leaks (Unmetered Air) after MAF
  • Check Intake Air Temperature sensor
  • Check Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)
  • Check Engine Coolant Temperature sensor
  • Check Air and Fuel Filters

Ah f@@kin hell what have I done I try the J Valve on my APY and its opened a right old can of worms lol...... Cheers for all the help lads

Have you got 17963 as well Sandip?

Yep, seems to have settled down a bit but if i keep it on boost it'll go into limp and chuck up 17963, drive slow for a while and it's back to normal. So mine intermittant now.

What can cause charge pressure to increase apart from the N75??? :readit:

Mines not goin into limp mode but my boost is intermittant and she is runnin like a dog sometimes there sometimes not..... My wife is always moanin sayin theres always something wrong with that car.... F@@kin hell if only she knew the half... lol. But its all part of the intense love affair of owning an S3.....
