another anouying problem

while out driving today my passenger door 'popped' open, not fully but enough for the interior light to come on and the door open sign on the dash to light up... has happened a couple of times now anyone had this problem? and what do i do to fix it

Never heard of this happening before but have you tried cleaning up the door catch with some wd40, might just need freeing up

It's common, the door catch needs replacing. dealer only part and £90 a side too iirc.

Yes tried that, was thinking maybe moving the catch part forward.
