Im gutted i didnt get my rods uprated when i had my cracked head replaced! i wasnt aware of the issues of them bending at the time. theres no way im paying the labour to have it done now!
not until they bend nd the bill is even higher
Thanks every1 big help! I've looked into it a bit more and doesn't seem too hard to do myself, also a lot cheaper. What about pistons is it worth changing them? soz should of asked this when I started the thread!
Well first I want to hybrid but eventually get a garret. I just want everyfing ready for when I decide to get a Garret and wasn't too sure what I needed for this. I suppose 400 bhp would be nice, I think that would keep me smiling for a while lol.Need to ask the question as to why you are going down this root? Std pistons are fine... they are forged as std and will easily cope with 400bhp... I still have std pistons in my engine...
