Got a new Ipod connector for my S3. Both the clips under the headunit are broken to remove it. Now im stuck as how to get the headunit out?

All help would be great thanks.

Take the glove box out so you can get your hand 2 the back of the head unit.

It's just 8 Torx screws, 4 behind the end cap on the dash, 3 up inside the glovebox and one down low near the centre console. If you have an airbag switch inside the glovebox then you'll need to unplug it but don't put the ignition on while unplugged as it will disable the airbag system and can only be reset with VAGCOM/VCDS.

Thanks for your help bud...should i remove the battery or will it be ok with battery in. But no ignition?
